Frank joined Children’s Home + Aid in October 2009 as Senior VP and Chief Financial Officer. In this role he is responsible for Finance, Information Technology & Services and Payroll & Benefits.
Frank is a seasoned financial executive with significant experience in large, small, domestic, and international operations in a wide range of positions. He is skilled at dealing with a variety of business scenarios, including growth, acquisition, divestiture, and bankruptcy. In addition to the finance area, he has experience with payroll and facility management. He believes that internal reporting should provide operating results in a form that can be understood by operating staff and the Board.
Frank started his career at USG Corporation, a multi-billion- dollar building products company. Over his 28-year career with USG, he held positions ranging from accountant to Vice President of Finance. He was part of a workout group that lived in Europe for three years focused on stabilizing a poorly performing business unit of USG. Post USG, he spent seven years as Chief Financial Officer of SSP/BPI Group, a privately held human services firm that provides career coaching and counseling to job seekers.
Frank received his BA in Accounting and MBA in Finance from De Paul University in Chicago. He also holds a CPA certificate in the state of Illinois and is or has been a member in FENG, FEI, and FLA. He currently is an active member of a Chicago based not for profit CFO Roundtable group which strive to help each other out with routine finance, accounting and operational matters. He is a trustee for Brehm Preparatory School in Carbondale, IL. He is also President of the Brehm Foundation.
