The torrential rain at the end of June damaged our Bloomington facilities, offices and classrooms, including flooring, drywall and furniture, and destroyed essential pantry items, supplies, books and toys.

About Our Site
The Bloomington Crisis Nursery is the only of its kind in McLean County, offering support to families experiencing urgent child care needs, housing challenges, domestic violence, mental health and well-being needs. It is a primary resource for many families to secure pantry items, including diapers, wipes, formula, books and toys.
There was an immediate urgency amongst staff to ensure that the Scott Early Learning Center reopened as quickly as possible, ready to continue serving our community. While certainly fielding numerous calls during the storm, Paul Davis Restoration Services responded to our call for help and we were able to safely return to full operations the following day. Our Scott Early Learning Center provides quality early childhood education to over 100 children each year. The Scott Center serves children (6 weeks-5 years) from families of all income levels and prioritizes strong parent involvement and communication.
