A Mother’s Thank You
When asked what the most important thing Children’s Home & Aid has done to support her family, Amy, a single mother at one of our centers said, “They have always been so generous and giving to us. But especially during the pandemic. From the zoom calls, to the drop offs and then people always stopping by with gifts and goodies for the kids. We felt so loved and cared for and really felt the support from the school.”
Children’s Home & Aid estimates that over 1,000 children and families we serve are increasingly struggling to obtain essential needs during the pandemic—in particular, diapers, formula, wipes, personal hygiene, and cleaning supplies. Our childcare centers are continuously providing what they can to our families to best support their needs. Amy said, “Children’s Home & Aid has literally been a life saver to my family,” during the pandemic; and with your help, the Woman’s Board can help replenish these items to our childcare centers to provide to our families.
