Lexzabet is a former intact program intern former Intact Program intern. She interned with Children’s Home & Aid while pursuing a bachelor’s degree in human development and family services with an emphasis in family social services. After completing her internship, Lexzabet decided to become a Bilingual Intact Case Manager. During her time as a Bilingual Intact Case Manager, Lexzabet learned how to create boundaries, support her team and clients, and identify her strengths and learning style.

After a year of being an Intact Case Manager, Lexzabet found a position that enhanced her leadership skills. She is the now the Program Coordinator for the Motherhouse Crisis Nursey. In her current role, she supervises staff, attends leadership meetings, meets program needs, and most importantly, supports the needs of families in the community.

Lexzabet advises interested prospects to push themselves out of their comfort zone and intern at Children’s Home & Aid. She is sure “You will not regret it!”
