  • What is a matching gift program?

Employee matching gift programs are corporate giving programs in which the company matches donations made by employees to eligible nonprofit organizations.

  • Do matching gifts include volunteer hours?

Volunteer grant programs are corporate giving programs in which companies provide monetary donations to organizations where employees volunteer regularly. If you volunteer with us, it’s an easy way to provide us with additional financial support! Check with your company’s HR department to see if this benefit is an option; or suggest it to your employer!

  • How do I request a matching gift or volunteer grant?

You can do this by filling out and submitting a match form provided by your employer or by using the search tool above to find company specific information and electronic submission.

  • How is this information obtained?

We partner with a company called Double the Donation. If you see anything that should be changed, please email our matching gift department at matchinggifts@childrenshomeandaid.org.

  • What if my company isn’t listed on the search page?

If your employer is not listed, check with your Human Resource department to see if they offer a matching gift program.

  • Can my company’s matching gift be applied to an event?

Most companies do not match nontax deductible contributions. Please check with your Human Resource department for any restrictions.

  • What if I still have questions?
