Get IN Chicago recognized Children’s Home + Aid Director of Youth Services + Community Engagement Jimi Orange with its inaugural S.T.A.R. award. Jimi was one of two recipients to be presented with the award, which honors SYNC Mentors and CBT Clinicians who have demonstrated a Spirit of collaboration, a Tireless commitment to youth, have gone Above and beyond the call of duty, and who have been Responsive to the unique needs of the youth they serve.

SYNC is a new initiative of Get IN Chicago that brings together local juvenile justice agencies, mentoring and therapy programs, case management teams and technical assistance providers to help high-risk youth make safer, healthier and more successful transitions into adulthood. Jimi was presented with the award and a $500 check by Get IN Chicago Executive Director Dr. Tony Irving at the SYNC kickoff. Congratulations Jimi on this well deserved recognition!
