Why should I share my light on Giving Tuesday?

The generous support of our donors and partners, allows us to work with 30,000 children, youth, and families across the state to provide direct and preventative services.

What is Giving Tuesday?

Giving Tuesday is a national day of giving and a social movement established in 2012 as a way to begin the giving season. Giving Tuesday occurs annually on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving. This year Giving Tuesday is November 28, 2023.

Want to Get Involved?

You can get involved in several ways:

  • Make a Gift: Your partnership this Holiday Season supports a groundbreaking movement – to confront the systems and practices that prevent children and families from thriving. Together, with your support, we can push boundaries, transform systems, and improve practices in communities across Illinois.
  • Join a Board or Auxiliary: At Brightpoint, our boards and auxiliaries play an invaluable part in fulfilling our mission of supporting children and their families. Whether this occurs via gifts of time, talents, or treasures, our volunteer fundraising groups always make an impact and more importantly, we always have room for one more! All of our Boards and Auxiliaries have access to monthly “Lunch & Learns” with Brightpoint staff as well as regular “mission moment” activities.
