The Windy City Ball

On September 29, 2018, the Associate Board of Children’s Home & Aid is partnering with the Windy City Ball team to support Children’s Home & Aid’s Rice Child & Family Center. The Windy City Ball is an annual black tie fundraiser established in 2015 by a group of friends seeking to bring together friends family, and members of the community to celebrate and support worthy philanthropic causes.
The evening will feature entertainment from Chicago’s own Stu Hirsch Orchestra as well as drinks and light bites from 9:00 PM-1:00 AM.
This year, the Windy City Ball will be benefiting the Daniel F. and Ada L. Rice Child & Family Center. The Rice Center provides a temporary home and therapeutic setting for many of Illinois’ young children in foster care with severe mental health and behavioral challenges. The residential care and treatment center helps kids ages 6 to 14 move forward and work towards a goal of transitioning to a stable, loving home.
