Woman’s Board Spring Fundraiser

Due to the public health situation with the COVID-19 virus, and in compliance with state and local recommendations, we are cancelling all public events through June 30, 2020. The Spring Luncheon Fundraiser will take place virtually.

For 100 years, the Woman’s Board has worked diligently to raise funds supporting Early Childhood Education  programs. While most of the agency’s 20 offices across the state have closed, including all five Early Childhood Centers, the services they provide continue.

In Chicagoland alone, we estimate that over 5,300 families we serve are struggling to obtain essential needs—in particular, diapers, formula, wipes, hygiene/toiletries products and cleaning supplies. Increasingly, families are reaching out in desperate need of gift/cash cards to cover essentials like food, rent, and phone/internet access during this crisis. We are greatly in need of support to boost our technological infrastructure as an agency to provide critical tools like computers, phones, and internet access to our families. These critical tools will allow our teachers to stay connected to our children and families via phone or FaceTime.

Now more than ever, every dollar counts. From $50 to $5,000, your gift will help ensure that children and families continue receiving the services they need for the duration of this crisis and beyond.
