WHATEVER IT TAKES

Did you know that in Illinois approximately 5,000 children are removed from their homes each year due to abuse or neglect? Did you know that nearly half of those children are under the age of five? These children, whatever their ages, depend on Children’s Home & Aid for safety, stability and a place to belong.

On Thursday, June 14, Children’s Home & Aid’s Northern Region will host the 4th Annual Champions for Children Luncheon, featuring Paul Logli, President & CEO of United Way of Rock River Valley. Each year, the luncheon brings together the Rockford community’s most influential businesses and community leaders, elected officials and corporate partners. Together we celebrate the success that is achieved for children, youth and families when corporate and civic leaders support Children’s Home & Aid’s mission.

The Champions for Children Luncheon is the signature event of Children’s Home & Aid’s Northern Regional Advisory Board. This year’s event is led by Melissa S. Leuzinger and Neeley A. Erickson.
