7th Annual March Madness Bracket Tournament

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

Once you sign up, you will receive an email with instructions to make your picks. You will have from Sunday, March 17 – Thursday, March 21 at 11:00am to enter your bracket(s). The tournament begins right after the deadline. Fill out your bracket by picking a winner of each game until you have your champion. It doesn’t matter if you pick each team because of their guard play, loyalties or even their mascot! When the tournament is complete, winners will be contacted to arrange the distribution of their prize.

PRICE TO PLAY:

$25 per bracket
(You may fill out up to 10 brackets with each one costing $25 per entry.)

PRIZES:

1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will receive a prize (to be announced soon!).

SCORING:

First Round: Each correct pick is worth 1 point.
Second Round: Each correct pick is worth 2 points.
Third Round: Each correct pick is worth 4 points.
Fourth Round: Each correct pick is worth 8 points.
Fifth Round: Each correct pick is worth 16 points.
Championship: Each correct pick is worth 32 points.
Tiebreaker: The total score of the Championship game.

THE DIFFERENCE YOU’RE MAKING BY PLAYING:

The March Madness Bracket Tournament is hosted by the Associate Board. The Associate Board focuses their efforts on Children’s Home & Aid’s Daniel F. and Ada L. Rice Child + Family Center. The Rice Center provides a temporary home for many of Illinois’ young children in foster care with severe mental health and behavior challenges. The therapeutic residential center serves children ages 6 to 14 with the focus on helping kids and families stabilize, gain skills, and work toward a goal of transitioning to a home environment.
