2022 Whatever It Takes – October Virtual Bike or Run

Children’s Home & Aid is hosting a virtual fundraiser for the Bloomington Crisis Nursery. The Crisis Nursery provides 24 hours per day 7 days per week emergency childcare for families parenting children ages birth through six who are experiencing some form of crisis. On average, the 24-hour crisis line receives a call every 15 minutes from families seeking support. The top reasons families use our program include Abuse and Neglect Prevention, Mental Health, and Domestic Violence. In the past year the Crisis Nursery has served 101 families totaling 156 children. In addition to providing Crisis Care, the Program has distributed 50,740 diapers, 1,518 packages of wipes, and 319 cans of formula to our community.
All biking and running to take place on your own during the month of October 2022. We will get together for a participant appreciation event on Sunday October 30th from 1:00pm-3:00pm at Keg Grove Brewing Company.
