Stay Home, Sip Tea, Change Lives: A “No-Show” Fundraiser for the Daniel F. and Ada L. Rice Child & Family Center

The Rice Leadership Committee of Children’s Home & Aid cordially invites you to stay home with a mug of hot tea (tea and mug provided!) while supporting the children at the Daniel F. and Ada L. Rice Child & Family Center.

Our annual Chef’s Tasting, which raises funds for the children who live at the Rice Center in Evanston, is taking a year off. But the needs of the children living at the Rice Center are year-round.

Your gift this year to the No-Show Chef’s Tasting will continue to provide hope, help and opportunity to the 60 children served by the Rice Center every year.

With 110 years of experience, Evanston’s Rice Child & Family Center provides a temporary home and healing for up to 60 children, many in foster care, who suffer from severe behavioral, emotional and mental health issues. The Rice Center is one of the only programs in Illinois that can serve children as young as seven-years-old. With our support, the Rice Center helps children heal from their experiences of trauma so they can return to or be connected with a loving home.
