WHATEVER IT TAKES
Did you know that in Illinois, about 5,000 children each year are removed from their homes because of abuse or neglect? Did you know that nearly half of those children are under the age of five? These children, whatever their ages, depend on Children’s Home + Aid for safety, stability and a place to belong.
On Thursday, June1, Children’s Home + Aid’s Northern Region will be hosting the 3rd Annual Champions for Children Luncheon, featuring the Honorable Mary Linn Green as the keynote speaker. Our goal for the luncheon is to bring together our community’s most influential businesses and community leaders, elected officials and corporate partners. Together we will celebrate the success that is achieved for children, youth and families when corporate citizens and civic leaders support Children’s Home + Aid’s mission.
The Champions for Children Luncheon is the signature event of Children’s Home + Aid’s Northern Region Advisory Board with event chairs Melissa S. Leuzinger and Amy Mazzarese.
