About the Event

For 139 years, Children’s Home & Aid has done whatever it takes to ensure children and families thrive. Now, more than ever, it is essential that we ask ourselves the hard questions to confront – and then transform – systems that have created unjust racial and social barriers that limit the ability for families and communities to truly thrive.

Let’s talk about opportunity – how we can create it with a focused, collaborative re-investment into families and communities. Together, with your support we can begin BREAKING BARRIERS. CENTERING FAMILIES. TRANSFORMING SYSTEMS.

Join us for conversations that acknowledge our history, addresses the need for a new direction, inspires others to take a stand, and collaboratively find solutions to transform systems. The event seeks to accomplish three goals:

• Expand public awareness about the policies and systems that have disproportionately impacted families of color – transforming solvable challenges faced by families into life-altering crises.
• Inspire community members to spark public policy change that will insure thriving children, families and communities.
• Raise funds to advance the well-being of children by investing in families to disrupt the systemic and multi-generational cycle of racial, social and economic inequality.
