The relationship between Children’s Home & Aid and BMO Harris Bank stretches back more than 35 years and grows stronger each year. BMO Harris Bank believes in the importance of giving back to the communities they serve, and the tradition of community support has remained a key part of their culture since the beginning. Through the years, employees at BMO have been part of several engagement activities directly benefitting the youth, children and families of Children’s Home & Aid, including yearly participation in the Holiday Gift Drive. Hundreds of BMO employees have given their time, resources and talent to make an everlasting impact on thousands of children and families throughout the greater Chicago area. Thanks to them, we can continue our work to keep every child, and every family thriving.
Every day, BMO employees deliver on their brand promise, “We’re here to help”. Children’s Home & Aid is here to help too – assisting children and families to overcome poverty, abuse and neglect so they can recover their health, their hope and their faith in the people around them. The commitment from BMO executive leadership to individual employees is why our relationship is and will continue to be strong. From wrapping gifts for families in need, to directing the investment of nearly $720,000 for our youth, families and mission, it’s truly a multi-level partnership and team effort.
Strong leadership and personal commitment from the BMO team continues to strengthen an already successful partnership. Over the years BMO has supported several critical programs and services including the Daniel F. and Ada L. Rice Child & Family Center, the Jerri Hoffmann Child & Family Center and the annual Champions for Children luncheon. In addition, BMO contributed to the Every Child Campaign which raised more than $58 million dollars and brought transformative change by increasing our mission’s reach. We can now serve more children, youth and families through innovative, evidence-based approaches in three key program areas: Children and Youth, Family and Community.
Service is at the core of what happens every day at BMO, and we’re so proud of and grateful for the team members who’ve served at the highest level with us. This includes Ruth McNally, Honorary Woman’s Board Member and wife of former BMO CEO Alan McNally; Cecil R. Coleman, lifelong trustee; Pamela O. Dean, former board member and Ann Marie Wright, current trustee.
With the support of dedicated partners like BMO, nearly 40,000 children and families in 60 counties across Illinois receive help, hope and opportunity to move their lives forward.
Thank you, BMO Harris Bank, for your generosity and commitment to the children and families we serve.
