Mission
The mission of the Northern Regional Advisory Board is to improve outcomes for vulnerable children, youth and families in Rockford and surrounding counties. The advisory board members serve as the chief volunteer leaders for Children’s Home & Aid’s Northern Region. Local volunteers dedicated to Children’s Home & Aid have provided leadership in northern Illinois for more than 80 years. They are responsible for and participate actively in driving philanthropic and volunteer support in the community. Our advisory board members inform the mission strategy and priorities to meet local needs and challenges, and provide oversight and accountability to the community by reviewing our results and impact report.
