Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Children’s Home + Aid! Every day volunteers support Children’s Home + Aid’s mission – to give children help, hope and opportunity. A variety of volunteer opportunities are available from weekly to once a month to a one-time event or activity. Volunteers are placed in positions based on interest, need, skills, location and availability. Whether reading stories to a classroom at our Child + Family Centers, playing catch with a foster child, helping a child with homework, or providing support to our office staff, volunteers make a difference in the lives of children and families.

Children’s Home + Aid may provide students from accredited universities or colleges with formal internship or field placement programs in relevant fields of study with an opportunity to apply their theoretical learning within a practical setting. Resumes are accepted throughout the year. Decisions to provide field instruction are dependent on the requirements of the school and the availability of staff in the area of interest to provide the instruction. Children’s Home + Aid aims to provide the best learning environment possible in order to increase the knowledge and competence of those in the social service field. Send resumes with cover letters (including area of interest and intern dates/time availability) to:
