Northern Region Foster Care Information Meetings 2013

To find out more about the process of becoming a foster parent, the type of children who need homes and system of fostering in Illinois, please sign up for a Foster Care Information Meeting:

Location: Children’s Home + Aid, Freeman School Building, 910 2nd Ave., Rockford, IL
All information meetings are on the third Thursday of the month, 3:30 – 5:00 PM.

Foster Parent Training Programs

Foster Parent Training Programs are held the third Monday of each month from 6:00PM -8:00PM.

May 20: Permanency
June 17: Parenting the Sexually Abused Child

Free childcare provided on site; snacks will be provided for foster parents and children. Two training credit renewal hours for each foster parent in attendance. RSVP by calling (815) 962-1042 to speak to a licensing representative to pre-register.
