Headquartered in Rockford, the Northern Region of Children’s Home + Aid is devoted to serving the area’s most challenged communities. The Northern Region provides services and programs in many of the counties in Northern Illinois, including DeKalb. Children’s Home + Aid is recognized for achieving outstanding results through its programs and services that focus on child abuse prevention, healthy child development and strengthening families.

Holiday Showcase House - Kick-off the festive holiday season on November 8th and 9th with a viewing of the best in 2014 holiday decor! Come see this absolutely gorgeous 2,500 sq. ft. house decorated in holiday splendor. Local designers will be creating spectacular holiday themed visions in rooms throughout the house.
Children's Holiday Shoppe - A Special Place for Kids to Shop: November 29-December 21, 2014. It is an opportunity for children to experience a totally independent shopping adventure for their friends, family and teachers without the supervision or assistance of their parents. In addition to experiencing the joy of holiday gift giving and a sense of independence, children have the opportunity to practice valuable skills such as decision-making and money management. Last year nearly 500 children, accompanied by their parents, visited the Shoppe.
